Lantern Fields

You find yourself in the murky bog that is Lantern Fields. In this swamp-like expanse, the gloom is illuminated by swinging metal lanterns, letting out an echoing and ominous creaking sound as what seems to be the only clear safe path through the mire.

As your foot briefly strays from the path, you're sure you feel something moving underfoot as your foot sinks slowly into the mud. It may be dangerous to step from the path although who knows what could be out there sunk in the swamp for those willing to brave straying from the path...

Meanwhile up ahead you see a large skeletal signpost, as two bony hands point the way, holding an old wooden sign in their gnarled fingertips. To the northwest, the mist filled Foggy woods, covered in a thick cloud of fog. To the south, the Halloween gates and back to the centre and finally to the northeast you can see the flickering torchlight, dark ominous structure and the foreboding presence of the Haunted Sepulcrum

Here, those with a spade can attempt to dig at this muddy terrain to see what treasures may have been lost in the ground over time...
